A Four-Part Journey
From Burnout to Rooted Recovery
Restoring Balance and Well-Being

Join certified Forest Therapy Guides to experience how Forest Bathing reminds us that wellness does not always require doing more. Sometimes, it begins with allowing ourselves to slow down, step outside, and listen to the quiet wisdom found among trees.
Ongoing Research continues to affirm what many people instinctively feel — that time spent immersed in nature can lower stress hormones, support emotional balance, enhance focus and promote overall well-being. Each session offers thoughtfully guided invitations that encourage mindful movement, sensory awareness, reflection, and quiet connection with the natural environment. Participants will explore simple, accessible practices that help calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and foster emotional and mental clarity.

Claire Beach

As far back as she can remember Claire has been exploring ways to deepen her connection to nature. For many years it was her escape from the burnout of an intense career in architecture. This course is for anyone feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or disconnected from themselves or the natural world. It is especially supportive for those experiencing burnout, chronic stress, or compassion fatigue, and who are longing for a gentle, restorative approach to healing.

Not at all. This course is designed for beginners. You will be guided step by step with simple and effective process to support your well-being.

Forest Bathing (nature and forest therapy) supports nervous system regulation, reduces stress hormones, improves mood, and helps restore a sense of presence and vitality. It offers a slow, sensory-based way to reconnect with yourself and the living world—an antidote to the depletion and disconnection that often accompany burnout.

You do not need a wilderness setting. Any accessible outdoor space—a park, garden, trail, or even a quiet backyard—can become your place of practice. The course will include guidance for working with the nature available to you.

The course is a 4-part series, with each session building gently on the last. Sessions include a curated process and reflective practices that you can do anywhere. Between sessions you’ll receive an email inviting you into a sensory experience that you can do on your own time and in your space. Recordings of each workshop will be available.

Each session will have a set meeting time of one hour, plus suggested personal practices that can be adapted to your schedule. Even short, consistent time outdoors can be deeply restorative.

No. This course is educational and experiential in nature, designed to support well-being through guided nature connection. It is not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment, but can be a meaningful complement to other supports.

You are warmly welcomed exactly as you are. The course emphasizes gentleness, choice, and self-compassion. There is no pressure to “perform”—even small moments of presence in nature can be powerful. You are welcome to participate with your camera off.

There may be opportunities for optional sharing and community reflection. Many participants find it comforting to be in a supportive circle with others who are also navigating burnout.

Participants often report:

Reduced stress and mental fatigue
Improved sleep and mood
Greater emotional resilience
Renewed sense of purpose and clarity
A deeper, sustaining relationship with nature

You’ll simply need:

Comfortable cozy clothing for the weather (we will not be generating heat through exertion)
A place to sit outdoors (balcony, park, yard) or indoors (yoga mat, comfy chair, preferably with a window), where you feel safe and private, the more removed from human-generated sound, the better
A journal (optional but recommended)
Curiosity, and a willingness to slow down

Nature is present in all seasons and weather. You will be offered options and adaptations so you can continue your practice safely and comfortably, indoors or out, whatever the conditions.

Yes, you will have access to these recordings for a limited time after the course.

Rather than focusing on productivity or “fixing” yourself, this course offers a restorative path of reconnection—through the body, the senses, and the more-than-human world. It is slow, compassionate, and rooted in evidence-based nature therapy practices.

To help you move from depletion to renewal…
from wobbly to balanced…
from burnout to a felt sense of being rooted, supported, and alive again.

Yes. This can be done from your home, backyard or local park, whatever is comfortable for you. The focus is on inclusive immersion in nature, so you set the pace and movement (or no movement) that fits best for you.

Full refund up to 5 days prior to workshop start date.
