For the first time in November 2025, NFTC/SINC is partnering with another organization, GenWell, in a campaign that can help raise awareness around guided forest therapy walks. Here is some background information about the campaign and the partnership.

- Talk to a Stranger Week is a campaign organized by Canadian non-profit organization GenWell. The campaign is focused on events scheduled between November 24th and 30th.
- GenWell is a human connection movement dedicated to fostering human connections within the wider realm of social health, recognizing its vital importance to the mental and physical well-being of Canadians and the society in which we live.
- NFTC/SINC recognized that guided forest therapy walks are a great healthy activity and social context within which participants will naturally have the opportunity to Talk to a Stranger, so the campaign is a great fit between GenWell and NFTC/SINC as partners.
- To participate, Certified Guides who are Members of NFTC/SINC can create Talk to a Stranger Guided Forest Therapy Walk events on the NFTC/SINC Events Calendar, to be scheduled during the week of November 24th to 30th, which are available to the public to register for free and attend at no cost!
