Let’s celebrate Earth Day with a guided forest walk!
What is forest therapy? These guided walks are a researched-based practice that connect us to nature—a place that can reduce stress levels, help us think more clearly and nurture creativity. It is rooted in the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, which translates to ’forest bathing’.
How it works: A forest walk typically takes 2 hours. The walks are slow, following approximately a 1 km trail, providing time for discussions and contemplative exercises. We wrap up the walk by sharing a nature tea prepared by me. Participants should wear hiking footwear and dress for their comfort in the forest (view the weather forecast). Join me for a forest walk and re-connect with nature!
