This gentle, outdoor parent–baby program offers caregivers a chance to slow down, connect, and spend meaningful time in nature with their babies. The series is grounded in forest bathing, a guided, evidence-informed practice that supports wellbeing through mindful, sensory-based time outdoors.
Guided by a certified forest bathing guide and occupational therapist, each 90-minute session includes a warm welcome and orientation, a grounding exercise, and a series of gentle invitations to explore nature using the senses. After most invitations, participants are offered an optional moment of reflection and brief group sharing to support connection and community.
Sessions are slow-paced, inclusive, and designed for parents with pre-moving babies, with space for rest, curiosity, and relationship-building. Each gathering closes with a simple ritual, such as a short poem or quiet moment of integration.
This program takes place at Patterson Creek Park.
